I agree that the PC2X would be a great choice for the OP a lot of control options that are easy to get to, and an excellent sound engine as well. Overall its in great shape and works well. For faithful acoustic sounds, features and playing touch, the PC2X is my best recommendation having sold MI/Home keyboards from Roland, Korg and Technics for 20+years.

THE KURZWEIL PC2X PRO

One of the keys has a small mark on it, works fine. As a pro keyboard musician and installer (30+ years) my choice is the Kurzweil PC2X. This is a serious, high quality synth with 3 pedal outputs, MIDI output, and many built-in effects, pitch bend etc. The Kurzweil layout, while having almost absurd depth, and 'permutations', still offers fairly straightforward navigation one can keep it basic, or head down the rabbit hole, if so desired. At least the Motif and S series keyboards have a somewhat gridded layout, but I still make liberal use of a few, trusted tutorials from when attempting something complex. Yamaha definitely has their own take on interface/operating systems, culminating in the CP5/50. The rivets loosened, over time, and I had to bend the latch inward to keep it tight.

Those CP-70 latches could be a pain, though. вЂњTheyвЂќ refer to Kurzweil being easier to navigate! Historically, I've had a difficult time wrapping my brain around Yamaha's interface/operating system, with the possible exception of the CP-70.
